LOL This always bugged me. Apparently keys in the open palm, or dangling from the key-ring isn’t obvious enough for the camera...

I replicated this out of interst when handing my keys to a friend, he legit looked at me like I was broken

This must be CGI, I just tried to hold my keys like that and I dropped them....

Stunt keys. They’re made of plastic and glued to the stunt performer’s fingers. They green screen the shot of the two actors and put in the stunt performer’s hand in editing. Later, in Foley editing, the jingling of keys is added for the correct sound.
